Quality of Care for Prevention and Management of Common Maternal and Newborn Complications: Findings from a National Health Facility Survey in Kenya

This report is on a quality of care (QoC) survey that was fielded as part of ICF Macro’s 2010 Kenya Service Provision Assessment (KSPA) in all eight provinces of the country. The study was conducted in a representative sample of 695 health facilities, of which 509 provided antenatal care services, 207 provided labor and delivery services, and 129 were level 3 facilities expected to provide emergency obstetric and neonatal care.
