The World Health Organization published an MCHIP co-authored article on “Facility-based active management of the third stage of labour: assessment of quality in six countries in sub-Saharan Africa.” The study – which examined recorded use of uterotonic medicines, controlled cord traction, and uterine massage – covered 390 facilities in Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Mozambique, Rwanda and Tanzania between 2009 – 2012.
