This briefer highlights the recommendation of antenatal corticosteroid (ACS) administration for women with preterm labor, preterm prelabor rupture of membranes and for women who are preterm and experience obstetrical complications which could necessitate delivery, such as severe pre-eclampsia/eclampsia or antepartum hemorrhage.
