Postpartum Family Planning Meeting Report Now Availalble

Drawing on the momentum from three previous technical meetings, MCHIP's September postpartum family planning (PPFP) meeting aimed to encourage the sharing of PPFP programmatic strategies to advance the state-of-the-art and to capture lessons learned for programming.

The meeting -- entitled "Postpartum Family Planning: Building a Global Movement" -- was held in Washington, D.C., and provided an opportunity for program professionals to share field experiences in implementing PPFP strategies and tools to support
program initiatives, and to initiate the process of developing practice recommendations for the World Health Organization's Department of Reproductive Health and Research.
