Ms. Gibson leads the development of MCHIP's centrally funded strategic plan and oversees the implementation and technical assistance in multiple country programs. Ms. Gibson holds a Masters degree from New York University and has almost 20 years of experience designing, leading and managing health and development programs with a particular focus on maternal, newborn and reproductive health.

Ms. Gibson has designed and implemented regional programs in West Africa and national programs in Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Mali, Nepal and Niger. Ms. Gibson lived in Nepal for 6 years and Ethiopia for 3 years, working both as a contractor/country director and donor.
