
HANDWASHING WITH SOAP TO SAVE NEWBORN LIVES
A Global Development Alliance Launch Event
On Monday, June 13th in Washington, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Maternal and Child Health Integrated Program (MCHIP) and Unilever-Lifebuoy will launch a new partnership to reduce newborn deaths around the world. This public-private alliance will promote handwashing among birth attendants and family members as a key evidence-based strategy to reduce newborn infections.
Please join us for the global launch of this innovative initiative to meet the challenge of saving newborn lives through improved handwashing practices at birth and during the first month of life.
