Today kicked off the CORE Group’s  annual spring meeting, which will run through Friday with numerous sessions on topics centered around community health systems and equity. There is no doubt both are hot topics in global health today as we look for ways to meet, or at least come close to meeting, the Millennium Development Goals. As a partner of the CORE group, MCHIP has a strong presence at the meeting, with presentations by multiple members of the PVO/NGO support team on community health workers, LQAS methodology, and health equity.
